  • Where are you?

I like a good ass fuck as much as the next guy… does that make me gay?

  • The days are getting longer and the sun is out more and more often which is nice. The faster we get through spring and summer the sooner we get to fall, my favorite of the two season we have here in Seattle. (pause for joke re: raining and not raining yet seasons) Though I do have to say that I love the long gloaming we have during the summer.
  • We braved the piggy flu and attended Dine Our for Life a few weeks ago for our annual charity dinner out with Tbone and Trixie. We went to a great little french bistro and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The service was sketchy and odd, but apparently that’s ever so French according to our dinner companions. Overall, it was a great time and a much better experience than last year.
  • Last weekend was my long suffering honey’s 44th birthday and we really didn’t do much in celebration. We met up with Trixie on Saturday afternoon for a 10 mile bike ride down a part of the Burke Gilman trail. Then we meandered up to our favorite sushi joint for dinner (twice in two days for me – I was a happy boy!) followed by our virgin trip to Molly Moon’s ice creamery. Like so many sluts now that we’ve had a taste we’ll be back for more and more and more! Sunday we had snackies and played games with Nettie, Whipp, Tbone and Trixie, all in all a great day.
  • I had an in person interview on Monday that followed a phone interview last week. I wasn’t sure how it went, but I guess it went well because they want me to come in for a second interview on Friday. Sue thinks that they’re just really desperate, remind me not to use her as a reference. So, in keeping with my job interview superstitions, that’s all I will say right now, but think good thoughts for me on Friday.
  • I thought I wanted an iPhone, but was hesitant to join the ranks of the iTards in order to have one. I’m the luddite that doesn’t own any apple technology. I even avoided apple when I got my mp3 player by purchasing a Creative Zen which I love. I’ve now decided that I really want the G1 which happens to be available through my current provider, TMobile. Of course what with the tragic unemployment this is not an expense I need right now so I’m waiting. It just so happens that my waiting may coincide with the release of the new G phone which from what I’ve seen on the internet looks way cool. Oh and the apps for the G phone are primarily free – suck on the iTunes.
  • The frequency of my migraines has dropped from one per day to about three or four a week lately. I take joy in the small things. I need to get back to the gym and yoga, hopefully my brain is going to stop trying to crawl out of my head long enough for me to accomplish this.
  • I’ve been all kinds of crafty lately. The number of pairs of slippers knitted is now 5, the purse project for my nieces has been ripped out and redone three times now  -  think I’m closing in on finishing this one finally, I’ve got half of a “market bag” done in a lace stitch done and I’ve found a pattern for pot holders and a yoga mat bag that I’m anxious to work on. I also may or may not have done something else crafty in the last few days that needs dropped off in Portland on Saturday when I go flying through yet again.
  • Yes, I’m flying down I5 again this weekend to return to Salem/Keizer for my 2nd nephew’s 2nd birthday. Shorter trip this time just down Saturday morning early and back late Sunday afternoon. Big bonus is I get to see my nieces and sister for the first time in a year. I’m excited!
  • I know I already beat the atheist horse this week, but a blog and facebook buddy of mine suggested I blog about this clip from the Bill Maher show. I loves me some Seth Green and he’s got some funny things to say about atheism and gays and Fox. Go give it a watch and I’ll stop with the bullets.

  1. Fingers crossed for you on the job thing. You know, I finally got an iPhone but hadn’t had any Apple technology before that. I love the phone and understand the hype, but I’m still not convinced I want all Apple, all the time. I guess what I’m saying is YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Also, I went with the iPhone only because it was a LOT cheaper than a Blackberry Bold at the time. The craftiness? You are WICKED awesome, Chris! Finally, I love love LOVED the clip from Real Time. Seth’s a genius. And a big gay Muslim movement? I had no idea.

Well, who in the hell doesn’t like an ass fuck….oh, wait….ME! I loved that clip. Loved loved loved it. As for your being a luddite…me too! Well, I do have an Ipod. I’m waiting until the possible announcement on 6/8 of a new Iphone before making a decision….we seem to be on the same wave length on that issue. Very cool on your job interviews! Wishing you good success.

Lewis ~ yah I’m not a huge fan either, but I loved that Seth said that. I’m getting excited for the new G phone and will stay with Tmobile now b/c of that.

What flavor ice cream did you get? I tried the salted caramel which was good but VERY salty. Better with hot fudge on it. The birthday cake flavor tastes EXACTLY like the batter. Woah.

I hope things go well on Friday and I’m glad you’re having less migraines… but wait, did you just call me an iTard? Such mixed emotions. It’s like being spanked during sex.
