Who knew that being unemployed would be so much damn work? I tried on my suit this weekend and as suspected, I’ve gotten so fat that it doesn’t fit and alterations seem to be beyond the reach of that measly amount of fabric. I’m off to meet the husband for lunch and suit shopping in a few minutes, but I wanted to mention something exciting that happened over the weekend.
My little blog received an award from one of my favorite queer political bloggers, the Godless Liberal Homo. Now like all awards of this type there are rules to follow and posts to come, watch for more info in the next couple of days. What with no work to go to each day, it sounds like a perfect opportunity to kick start your ass into the gym….like we’ve both done in the last few weeks. Never a bad time to give the gift of health to yourself!
