Another theft

Bryan’s sister is visiting so instead of an original post today you get this. Sucks to be you I guess… Enjoy this while we head out to Beth’s for breakfast.

I saw this one originally over at Shirley’s place, but wasn’t among the tagged so I ignored it.  Now that Cb has done it without tagging anyone I feel free to steal and use as my own (right, like I’ve ever let that stop me before).  Please feel free to follow suit.

What did you want to be when you ‘grew up?’

A vet, a dentist or the next great American novelist.

What are you now?

A technical software trainer and relatively happy with that career choice even though it was handed to me more so than sought after.

What fictional character did you identify with as a child?

The Hardy Boys, the Boxcar Children, Encyclopedia Brown – I obviously was looking for a mystery to solve.

How about now?

Haven’t really given it much thought.  The only fictional characters that jump to mind are either wizards, vampires or serial killers.  Any way you look at it I’m screwed in the head!

What is your drag song (we ALL have one)?

No we don’t ALL have one.  I’d rather stab myself in the eye with a knitting needle than do drag and couldn’t possibly begin to imagine a song that would change my opinion. I think drag queens are fine, but it’s just not my thing.

Earliest memory?

I was about 3 because my brother was an infant.  I was supposed to be taking a nap on my bed and instead I was throwing a ball at the crib my brother was in.  The ball rolled under the bed and I crawled under the bed to get the ball and got stuck.  My mom had to come in and get me out from under the bed.

Memory you’d like to forget?

Several ~ the day we had to put Pavlov (our dalmatian) to sleep, the day my grandmother died, the day my grandfather died, most of high school and sadly large blocks of college.

If you ran for a seat in political office, what would be your platform(s)?

Getting Amerika back to the Constitution, the end of being able to buy your way into office and a return to honesty and accountability in government.

Who the hell really cares?  I’ve got more pressing concerns than the human failings of celebretards.

The first person you thought you loved?

The girl who I almost married.  I’m sure I cared for her, but I think that love is a bit strong.

The first person you actually loved?

Probably the long suffering husband.

The person you love now?

Most importantly myself.  Then my long suffering husband Bryan, my family and many of my friends.

If you could be, do, have, own, or possess anything you wanted, what would it be?

To be truly happy with myself and my life and to be surrounded only by those I love and that make me the happiest.
