It’s a Betty Crocker smackdown beeyotch!

Our friend Chrissy is visiting this week with two of her daughters. Last night after dinner Bryan said he wanted brownies and Chrissy said she’d make some, but she had to go to the store and get a box of them first. I was ever so offended!
The gauntlet was thrown down and the challenge raised. I’ll be putting my homemade brownies (made from scratch using my parents tried & true recipe) topped with homemade cream cheese frosting up against the Betty Crocker box brownies and canned frosting.
Pictures of the baking process and results of the blind taste testing will be posted later tonight…

Just wanted to say thanks for commenting on my blog. Yes, the harassment is, um, er, a real hassle
The worst part of it is that I think it is essentially a slow-motion hate crime against me for being gay. (Lots of reasons I think that, mainly because of the Christian fundies in my past.)
Anyway, I really dig your blog and have spent HOURS reading it tonight. We have almost identical world views and political views, it appears.
