10 Things About Chris & Bryan

Last week you learned 10 things about Chris, this week you’ll learn 10 things about Chris and Bryan. This is the second of ten posts in the ongoing 100 things about me meme. Next week (I think) you’ll be learning 10 things about Chris and the rest of his family.

1. I met Bryan in the fall of ‘92 at a party thrown by a queer group that was run by my roommate. We hated each other at first because we were interested in the same guy, who turned out to be a major loser btw. We officially started dating in February of 1993.
2. Before we met, Bryan had his Tarot Cards read and the woman said he would end up with a dark haired man. (I have very dark hair - at least what’s left of it)
3. Bryan’s friends made fun of him for robbing the cradle when we started dating, he’s 5 years older than me.
4. My longest relationship before Bryan was for 6 months, his was 8 years
5. Bryan has a daughter who is almost 23, she has lived with us off and on over the years. I was her wicked step-mother when she lived with us.
6. Bryan is always cold and I’m always hot - makes adjusting the thermostat a challenge sometimes.
7. Our closest friends call us the “Bickersons” - I think we bicker a bit.
8. We have more lesbian friends than gay male friends for some reason.
9. To get a good night of sleep we got a king sized bed, we both like to stretch out and the queen was just not cutting it
10. Part of the reason we’re still together is that we’re too lazy to do the work required to breakup after all these years.
