13 Things that Grind My Gears

It’s Thursday so it must be time for the Thursday 13 again…
- Drivers who don’t use their turn signals. They are not a decoration, use them!
- The bicyclist that rode out in front of me last night wearing all black with no light on her bike. You’ll be lucky to live through the week if you keep that shit up.
- Guys who blow their noses in the shower at the gym.
- Guys who pee in the shower at the gym.
- Friend requests on MySpace from hookers.
- Pay for porn sites.
- Nothing to read in my Google Reader
- Too much to read in my Google Reader
- The end of Daylight Savings time. It’s dark when I leave for work and it’s dark when I get home from work - that just sucks ass.
- Not having any ideas for blog posts.
- Having an idea for a blog post, but being unable to post it because of who might read it and be offended.
- Presidential primaries that start a year ahead of time.
- Log Cabin Republicans - I mean really, WTF is up with that?

I also hate it when drivers don’t signal when they turn or change lanes. I have noticed that many who don’t have dented rear bumbers. Gee, I wonder why? You are so right about #2… she is just asking to be turned into road kill. As for #11, would it help if you changed the names in the post to protect the guilty/innocent?

I wish I could just change the names of the guilty, but too many people in my rl read the blog for that to work in this case.

Wow, you had me at driver’s not using turn signals. I am woman, so I know I wouldn’t nothing like that going in the shower. Daylight Savings Time does suck ass!

I’m with you on #11 & #12.
Especially #12. It was fine - until I met a couple of bloggers. No one else (in my RL) know about my blog.

#10 - my problem is I have many ideas that I never finished and stay as drafts forever. That’s the point of this week’s Coulda Woulda Shoulda NaBloPoMo edition. If you get a chance, stop by and vote on the one you’d like to read next.

re #1 and #2, I so agree! As for people being offended: being offended is part of life. The world has suddenly become so timid that we all feel we have to walk on eggshells in case someone somewhere should feel a bit uncomfortable for a few moments. I’ve given up worrying. I am often offended and it hasn’t killed me yet, so I don’t care if I offend people. We are all different, so it’s inevitable.

#1, I’m so with you. #2, I’ve seen it too many times to count.
#5 is why I killed my MySpace account.
#11 I say fuck ‘em if they can’t handle it, but hey, that’s me.
#12 Yeah, no shit. If the election isn’t for over a year, I don’t care who you are or what you want to talk about cause it makes no difference in the here and now.
