There are some good moves on your list. I’ve seen Casino Royale and liked it.

    Thanks for stopping by.

Wow, there are a whole bunch here I haven’t seen! I’ll have to check them out. I have seen Casino Royale, The Departed, and Stranger Than Fiction. Borat did not appeal to me at all but I’ve heard so much about it, I’ll go rent it.

Once the LOTR trilogy came to an end, I got very lethargic about going to movies. There’s not a lot coming out now that I want to see - and what I do go see just doesn’t measure up. :) Don’t even want to see The Hobbit, once it comes out, since Peter Jackson’s not involved in it!

  3. Lisa Says:

I have not seen even one of those!

    Thanks for visiting.

  4. Lene Says:

I haven’t seen any of those. Would you recommend any of them? Happy TT!

Some great movies on your list, I’ve only seen a couple…Departed was good, gory and lots of F-bombs but I liked it! Borat was somewhat disappointing, much prefer The Ali G Show, which does include the Borat character and more! :)

  6. Chris Says:

Would I recommend any of them… hmmm depends on what you’re looking for I suppose.
My top three are: Children of Men, Kinky Boots, The Painted Veil. The three are drastically different Children of Men is end of the world, bleak with a glimpse of hope; Kinky Boots is a silly funny romp based on a true story, gotta love drag queens to love this one; The Painted Veil is a true drama, no action scenes but a great story with an ending that works but is a surprise.
My bottom two are: Farce of the Penguins and Borat. I turned off Farce of the Penguins after about 20 minutes, it drove me absolutely nuts. Maybe you just have to be in the right mood for that one. I did watch Borat all the way through, I’m not entirely sure why though. The concept was good it was just too much to try and stretch a skit into a movie.
The other ten movies are good solid watches depending on what you’re in the mood for, definitely read the reviews because my tastes are a tad bit eclectic. LOL

Hey, thanks for dropping by my TT. I’ll have to add some of your movies to my list of things to see because I’ve only seen one of them!

    Have a great weekend,
    Kristy

  11. Starchy Says:

Great list! Reminded me I’m seriously behind on movies! I saw Stranger than Fiction, and it was…strange. Good. But strange. ha! I want to see The Departed and Casino Royale.

Thanks for visiting my blog, too!

  12. Jessica The Rock Chick Says:

I have a terrible habit of going to Blockbuster, renting movies and having to return them unwatched. I did see Blood Diamond, though…thought it was pretty good! The Good Shepard is definitely on my list, too!!!

    Happy TT

Hey Chris, I’m visiting you because of Dewey’s blogroll game. :) I watched Casino Royale recently and enjoyed it, surprisingly enough, except for that weird moment when it descended in Harlequin purple cheese. I haven’t seen Children of Men but I’ll get around to it.

  21. Lori Says:

Which one did you like best??

  22. Chris Says:

I’d have to say my favorite is Children of Men followed closely by Kinky Boots. Thanks for stopping by Lori!

  23. Dana Says:

    Sadly, there are only a couple of those movies that I have heard of. I need a life. {sigh}

  24. Jeannine Says:

    Good List!
I thought Blood Diamond was a very good movie! Made me think, a lot!
